Dattatreya Ramachandra Kaprekar ( 1905 - 1986 ) was Mathematical Indian, whose name is associated with a series of concepts in Theory of numbers . was born in Dahanu, near Mumbai, in India .


One was interested in the numbers being very small, and received secondary education in Thana and it studied in the Fergusson institute, in Poona . Kaprekar attended the University of Bombay, receiving the degree in 1929 . From 1930 to its retirement in 1962, worked like professor of school in Devlali, India. Kaprekar discovered many interesting properties in the recreational theory of numbers. It actively published articles, writing on subjects like decimal with landlords appellants, squared magicians and numbers with special properties.
